On 08/2015, I called in to cancel the 100Mpbs service, reducing the monthly bill by $90. Our current monthly bill, including 5 static IP, is about $135.

We now have a block of 5 static IPs from Comcast. The SMC unit can still be used as a router. Currently the setup is as followed:

DHCP enabled – giving out IPs range 192.168.1.50-199
The public IP of this interface is 74.92.201.174, this is also the gateway IP of our 5 static IP block.
Our public IP range is 74.92.201.169 to 173
Gateway is the router’s public IP , which is 74.92.201.174
Subnet mask is 255.255.255.248
Comcast’s DNs server is 75.75.75.75 & 75.75.76.76
Ticket number is #cr34.226.0196
IP assigned on Friday November 8 2013. This will add $19.95 to our monthly bill.
